Once Saved, Always Saved?

For those who believe and teach this I have but one word for you:

Apostasy

Greek word apostasia meaning the abandonment of one’s religion

In order to abandon or fall from the faith you must first have it.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away [Apostasy] first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

1 Timothy 4:1 In the latter times some shall depart from the faith [Apostasy], giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

Once saved, always saved? NO!

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

In order to be blotted out of the book of life, you must first be in it.

Once saved, always saved? NO!
