Second Ten Generations

After Noah, these are the next in the lineage of Jesus Christ.

Genesis 11:10-11 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old. And begat Arphaxed two years after the flood: And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxed five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

Shem lived 600 years

12-13 And Arphaxed lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: And Arphaxed lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

Arphaxed lived 438 years

14-15 And Salah lived thirty years and begat Eber: And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

Salah lived 433 years

16-17 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

Eber lived 464 years

18-19And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

Peleg lived 239 years

20-21 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: And Reu lived after he begat Srug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

Reu lived 239 years

22-23 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: And Srug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

Serug lived 230 years

24-25 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and he begat sons and daughters.

Nahor lived 148 years

26-28 And Terah lived seventy years and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran, and Haran begat Lot. And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

Genesis 11:32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

Terah lived 205 years

This is the lineage of Jesus from Shem to Abram.

Tower of Babel

Ever wonder about your ancient ancestors? Let’s learn how the earth got its population.

After the flood, Noah became a husbandman.

Genesis 9:20-21 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard. And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

Now Noah had three sons, Japheth, Shem, and Ham, and they each had a wife. All of whom were in the ark with Noah and his wife.

Genesis 9:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

From these three sons the earth was repopulated after the flood. Up to this point we know we all are related to the first 10 generations of Jesus’ lineage since all others died in the flood.

Genesis 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two bretheren without. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father, and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

Alright, now there are some who believe that Ham molested his father. NO!! Remember what Adam and Eve did after they ate of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil?? They covered their nakedness. Being seen naked by anyone other than your spouse is a sin. In this manner, Ham caused the righteous Noah to sin. It brought shame upon the family.

Genesis 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant. Continue reading

Noah & the Flood

Genesis 5:28-29 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and he beget a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

Being the 10th generation from Adam, Noah was the last of the first ten generations of Jesus’ lineage. His grandfather, Methuselah, was the oldest living man who died at the age of 969. Noah’s great-grandfather was Enoch. The bible says Enoch walked with God and then God took him. He was the first to prophecy about the return of Jesus before Jesus was born.

Jude 1:14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Noah’s great-grandfather, Enoch, was NOT the same Enoch that was Cain’s son. Cain’s great-great-great-grandson, Lamech, was NOT Noah’s father. These are different branches of the same family tree. Noah’s father did not kill Cain as some are led to believe. Cain’s great-great-great-grandson did not kill him. Cain’s Lamech in Genesis 4:23 killed a young man that caused him harm. It was self-defense. He was saying that if God protected a cold blooded murderer like Cain than God would protect one who killed in self-defense even more. Cain’s great-great-great-great-grandson, Tubalcain, did NOT kill Noah’s father. That movie “Noah” is the worst excuse of a movie I have ever seen. I have more to say about that abomination during this study. For those who have not seen it, this study is a spoiler alert.

Are We Born With Morals?

I have heard it said that we don’t need the ten commandments or laws because we are born with natural moral values. The bible says we are sinners from birth and that is because we are not born with natural moral values. They have to be taught to us. We have to be given rules and laws in order to gain these values.

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

I remember when my kids were very little, we never taught our children to lie, cheat, or steal. However, we caught them lying and even stealing. Their conscience knew it was wrong because we had told them it was wrong, that is why they tried to hide it, but if moral values are natural to us at birth we would have never had those conversations. If murder wasn’t illegal I’m sure many more people would be out there releasing their anger right now. People that wouldn’t normally do it because it is illegal.

Gender Confusion

Is it really that difficult to figure out which restroom or gym locker you should be using? Our country is on the path of difilement. I understand the fact that there are people in this world that truly believe they are not the gender they were born into. I understand that human emotions are strong to the point of giving into them. On a daily basis there are moments I would love to beat someone down because they have pushed me too far. There are times when emotions should not take over your life.

We are surrounded in this world by stalkers, rapist, abusers, pedophiles, the mentally insane, etc. These are people who are so lost in their emotions that they would do anything to get the satisfaction they want. They pretend to be your friend, companion, soul mate or whatever to get closer to their emotional intentions. Now, I understand, or at least try to understand, that some people are not content with the body parts they were born with. That is a conflict between them and God. While I’m on the subject of God, I would like to say that my God doesn’t make mistakes with genders when He creates us but, He does allow Satan to intrude in our lives and it is up to us to make the decision. It’s called free will. Succumb to your emotions are become what God created you to be.

With that being said, this post is not about a person’s struggle with how God made them. This is about protecting others from these struggles. When a trangender male is allowed access into an area where women are vulnerable it has serious implications.
